Suicide...

Hello, everyone!! I haven't written a blog for a while...

So today I want to write about a very very veeeeeeeery dark topic....lol


Today's subject is 'suicide'.


Recently, I've heard around 30 thousand people commited suicide in Japan. When I go to school by Tokaido line, sometimes I come across accidents by commiting suicide. Two or three years ago, probably I must have felt "Oh shit!!!"lol


But now I can vaguely understand in his or her shoes.


From October in 2008 to September in 2009, I did job hunting. I went to many companies to take part in seminars and took more than 20 or 30 interviews, but I couldn't get even one decision from a company until September 15 in 2009. It was like groping in the dark because there were no specific answers to get a decision. The more I took interviews, the more depression I felt. As a result, I came to think 'suicide' because it was the easiest way to release from tortures. But around me, parents or friends, listened to my agony and helped me from blue. I was finally able to get a decision in September 15.


I never support killing oneself, but unless someone stands by those who want to commit suicide and understand their minds, it's impossible to prevent suicide.

It's very difficult though...

News and the Newsmakers...

Hello!!
Now I'm in Tokai village,Ibaraki prefecture, which is my home town.
I ate my mom's meal at the first time of one or two months, yesterday. It was so delicious!!!lol

Well, today I want to write about 'the truth of news'. This topic is so complicated and I cannot describe it clearly. But I try to do my feelings and thoughts.

Last class, I learned the actual conditions of mass media like TV, tabloid ,newspaper or something.

The most impressed article I looked was Tolstoy's words, because I recalled the contents of another class. It is the studying of 911, Iraqi War and Bush's administration. This was the very representation of the authorities of the mass media, politicians, authoritarians and so on I felt. And at the same time, I also felt the existance of us, ordinary pepople, was powerless if they take action and we had no chioce but to be controlled. At this class, I learned the definition of two words.

1: Misinformation- Information which is inaccurate or incorrect.

2: Disinformation- Information which is intended to deceive.

I think almost all media have the possibility of second one, 'disinformation'. I don't know the real reason but I think manipulating nation to support their own country, the mass media is acting deliberately.

Actually about 911 and Iraqi War, there were no news broadcasting the real faces, 'Why was USA attacked?',' Why did USA carry out Iraqi War?' and ' Were they happened accidentaly or necessarily?'.


'Think for Yourself' and 'Think critically'. These are very important for us. I mentioned such things last contribution. But, I realized the significance of them again.

"subjective"? Or "objective"?

Hi,everyone!Last class, we discussed whether the mass media in Japan is "subjective" or "objective".


It's a difficult topic because both of them are included. For example, NHK is tend to stand at "objective". I often watched NHK news. Although news anchors sometimes show their thoughts,all of programs except for variety shows only broadcast the facts of incidents I feel.


But on the other hand, FujiTV or TBS incline to air programs occupied "subjective" opinions or something.Through out this class, I deliberated which is the best for people.


But,I was not able to decide it...lol


However, the most important point I think is that we have to try to have our own opinions and ability to evaluate what is the truth through out both of elements which are "sujective"and "objective".

I felt it had ironical elements to the world. Because their family is not high class and has special talents but has messages to express the real world as satire.

I could enjoy watching Simpsons, black comedy.
